Passionately Artistic

My sweet daughter sent me money to buy myself some crafting goodies and I am so excited to have gotten some of the new Spellbinders. I have used them on my project.

For our challenge today Passionately Artistic's the theme is home decor or gift set

My little sis wanted a banner so this is for her. She came for Easter this past weekend
so this was her little gift.I used the Spellbinder Scalloped pennant die for two of the layers and dotted swiss embossing folder. I made flowers in her favorite color to decorate plus some greenery, buttons, butterflies and bows. I used the MS punch to make the loops for the ribbon to hang them on.

TUESDAY THROWDOWN CHALLENGE

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My little sis and niece came for the weekend and that was a real blessing since we only see each other a couple times a year!

Our challenge this week at Tuesday Throwdown is Brads and Eyelets.... Our sponsor is My Grafico and they sent us the great pre colored images. I started a card with all the images in layers and as I looked at them they looked like tags soooo tags to use as a bookmark they became! I also made a card to match.
My Card is layered with white aqua and coral. I used the Grafico leaf image to create the dp and stitched on then added the eyelets. There is a brad in the center of the image. It was layered with the Spellbinder scalloped rectangle. I dyed aqua ribbon to match.

The tag/bookmarkers were all embossed with different folders and then the images matted stitched and added. I put an eyelet in each hole before tying on the aqua and coral ribbons dyed to match. A brad attaches each sentiment cut out with various Spellbinders.

This past month has been difficult and I was thinking there are most likely others who have had difficult days or weeks and just don't say anything so I decided to make all these little tag/bookmarkers to give to some ladies for a little encouraging lift to their day.

Three Posts in One

I am Late in getting all my posts up this week. Really I'm not a slacker planned to be home early on Monday to finish up all my cards and posts but didnt work out that way. I had worked long hours prior, drove 15 hrs to Texas with my friend to do her sons wedding cakes last week, my uncle had been very ill and passed away, my aunt came to visit my mom had a stroke and airvaced to Vegas. They flew me back to Vegas after I finished the cakes. Went to see my aunt then drove the two hours home and back to work. Yikes too much life and too little time. All that rambling to say thats the reason they are late but here they are now.

My first card:
TUESDAY THROWDOWN Challenge is Sparkle and Bling and our sponsor is The Greeting Farm. They sent us the fun images to use. Mine is the Spring Fairy which I water colored and popped up the flower stickled flower. She was cut out with the Spellbinder scalloped circle, jewels added and then foam dotted on. The Bo Bunny dp it is matted on is stickled and stitched on. The little flowers and butterfly is also stickled. Two shades of dyed ribbon, stitching and a MS punched border finish it off.

Second card:
THE PIXIE COTTAGE Challenge this week is For Mom or a Special Lady.I have used the lovely lilies by Artish. You will find this and many more stamps plus digis at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More. The lilies were water colored and matted on some Basic Grey that I stitched on. Some dyed ribbon, button and tag finish off the card. The coordinating tag is to tie onto the package.

Third Card:
PASSIONATELY ARTISTIC Challenge is Countdown to Easter. I've used the sweet Heart Song Digi Image Theadore and balloons. Cut out and punched corner rounds. Matted on the blue and then stitched onto the fun Eastery patchwork dp. Big satin bow, buttons and sentiment cut out with the Spellbinder scalloped squares finish this little card.

It is water colored and then some stickles added to give some shimmer to the pretty little blossoms. I attached the mini bee and added to stickles to his wings. The punched edges were all made with Martha Stewart punches and stickles added to the butterfly wings and all the lines and intersection dots were with made with the pearls paint. Some dyed ribbon for a bow. The white stip is embossed. Assorted buttons were used to create the stop and lastly I made a paper flower for the bottom.
