This card is for the Little Red Wagon Challenge: Birthday. My baby sisters baby graduates and turns 18 in two weeks so this card is for her. She is a beautiful young lady and it is hard to believe she is all grown up. She is a outgoing tomboy riding like the wind and then she can be so feminine so I chose this bright green, blue and black combo. I made a gate card with a pocket inside. The dp paper is Bo Bunny and solid SU. The black punched strips are with the MS doily and stitched on and the black is a #10 nestie accented with the green,a scalloped oval nestie. I used 6 matching green eyelets on the ends. The flower is punched and outlined and used the hand dyed seam binding to wrap around and tie close..On the inside I used the MS punch on the three rows of the pocket and stitched it.. The HB is computer generated and matted on the black. I also cut out 18 and matted it on the stripe and black with a jewel. The tag is the stripped paper then a layer of creme so I will be able to write my message to her. The pocket will also hold a gift card.

My Card is for Stampin Sisters in Christ. Grace Challenged us create with singing or music from the Scripture Psalm 95:1-3a. My husband plays the guitar and is worship leader and can you believe it I dont have a guitar stamp. I did have a violin. My grandfather played the violin when I was a child and I loved to listen to him. We always have music in our home cuz dh is always practicing a new song or creating one that he has written himself. I think this might be some type of stepcard. I stamped my white with a music stamp and made the flowers with it. I used a MS fence and arch punch. The Scripture is cut from an oval nestie backed with the #10. I The violin stamp doesnt have a name. I also cut out the bow for the violin using little shreds for the bow hairs. I used SU solid and Kaisercraft print. I used assorted punches to create the top.

My May basket is for Fussy and Fancy Challenge. The instructions I got quite some time ago but didn't write down where. I enlarged it and used decorative scissors for the center piece. The image is a sweet Penny Black that I cut out and pieced her hat. It is called A gift of Flowers. I used a fiskars punch for the My Minds Eye paper pink edge. I ran the handle through the dotted swiss folder and put the pink edge on each side. I love love flowers and made the flowers using a punch and some just cutting and layering then added tendrils and leaves and a big bow. I cut pink and white tissue to fill it. May baskets usually have flowers in them but I put them on the outside cuz I plan of filling it with some bath salts and bubble bath Im making for a friend.

Mine is made with the very versatile Valentine Hannah by Sandra Hammer and she is available at Michelle's Scrapbooking & More. I covered the hearts in her basket with little flowers and the heart in her hand I covered with the yellow flower. I cut little holes and pulled the stem through so it would look as if she were holding the flower. I used a MS punch down the edge of the card and glittered them. I added a piece of the stripe paper on the inside to show thru the butterfly edge. Although it doesn't show the striped paper is glittery.
